Like his older brother Seamus, Liam was raised in Watertown, South Dakota. He graduated from Watertown High School and graduated from South Dakota State University before traveling to Boulder, Colorado to get his law degree.

Growing up in South Dakota instilled in Liam the value of honesty and fairness. Life on the plains also taught Liam to be tough yet careful and efficient yet thorough. He credits his success to a series of great teachers and professors at Watertown High School, South Dakota State University, and the University of Colorado School of Law as well as many other mentors who have taught him about the many things you don’t learn in school.

When Liam isn’t at the office, he spends his time with friends and family. An avid outdoorsman, he can frequently be found in the sloughs around Watertown in the early morning hours waiting for the ducks to come in, hunting elk on a mountain in Colorado, or walking through the tall prairie grass hoping his black lab will flush out a bird or two. Regardless of your concern, Liam is willing to take the time to talk and help when he can.
